Philadelphia, PA—DC-based business travel start-up Upside has tapped Philadelphia digital analytics firm MaassMedia to develop a multi-channel marketing analytics platform that will provide the website’s executive, marketing, and content teams with data and insights to inform strategic and tactical planning decisions.
Upside, which launched in January 2017, saves businesses travelers who work for small and mid-sized companies 5-15% over the lowest published flight and hotel prices available online. As a reward for saving their companies money, business travelers can earn $100 or more in free gift cards to major retailers – such as Amazon.com, Whole Foods, Target, Staples, and Uber – on every trip.
“We are excited to be partnering with MaassMedia for business intelligence solutions. As leaders within the field of digital analytics, their work for both small and enterprise companies made them a natural fit for Upside,” said Upside Vice President of Marketing at Upside, Michele Mitchell.
“Like Upside.com MaassMedia seeks to provide innovative solutions to our clients. We make it our mission to ensure that businesses thrive in today’s crowded digital space by sorting through their informational clutter and providing them with actionable insights,” said MaassMedia VP of Client Services Phil Kemelor.
Over the next few months MaassMedia will work closely with Upside.com to design a metrics framework, perform a complete data quality audit, recommend and prioritize data collection and processing improvements, create a multi-channel attribution model, and produce targeted analyses and develop personalization strategies and tactics, along with other projects. MaassMedia will also offer ongoing support for the start-up.
